Is called Experia the new Energica electric motorcycle. This is a very interesting model that was presented at the MotoE Mugello GP. The manufacturer defines this new two-wheeler as a “Green Tourer“to travel with zero emissions. On paper, this bike actually allows you to tackle even short journeys thanks to a decent range and, above all, to the possibility of being able to recharge in direct current to make full energy as fast as possible. Of course, we are still a long way from a traditional bike, but thanks to fast chargingExperia offers greater flexibility of use than other electric motorcycles.
This new electric motorcycle features the new unit PMASynRM. It is a liquid cooled synchronous reluctance motor assisted by permanent magnets. The numbers shared by Energica speak of an efficiency that can reach 96%. Peak power is 75kW (102hp), while continuous power is 60kW (80hp). The torque reaches 115 Nm. The performance is very good. The maximum speed is electronically limited at 180 km / hwhile accelerating from 0 to 100 km / h takes just 3.5 seconds.
The engine of the new Energica Experia is powered by a 22.5 kWh battery (19.6 kWh usable) which allows you to have a good autonomy. Below, the declared values.

As mentioned at the beginning, the bike supports DC fast charging. In this regard, 40 minutes are enough to go from 0 to 80% of the battery capacity (power up to 24 kW). There are 4 maps available for the engine and 4 for the management of regenerative braking. Also present are traction control and cruise control. The instrumentation consists of a 5-inch color display. Energica reports that the bike has a tubular steel trellis frame combined with aluminum side plates.
The front fork and rear mono shock absorber are ZF Sachs. The brakes are from Brembo and the 17-inch wheels use Pirelli Scorpion Trail II tires. The weight is 260 kg. The warranty is 2 years on the motorcycle and 3 years or 50,000 km on the battery. The price has not yet been communicated even if we are talking about a figure of around 30 thousand euros.
